As a design professional driven by a passion for creating innovative and functional products, I have dedicated over 20 years of my career to mastering the diverse facets of industrial design and CAD work. From 2D to 3D conversion and generating concept designs to design for manufacturing, my broad and versatile skill set enables me to bring any project to life.
At the core of my design approach is a deep understanding of human-centered design principles. I excel at applying design thinking methodologies to uncover user needs and pain points, ensuring the products I create deliver meaningful and impactful experiences. My holistic process also incorporates design for manufacturing considerations, leveraging parametric design techniques to optimize production efficiency.
Throughout my 20+ years of experience in the industry, I have honed my skills in transforming design sketches into precise 3D CAD models for production and prototyping. I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of design projects, from aerospace and automotive to brand identity and plastic packaging. As the former Vice President of Design & Engineering at a private aviation company in Reno, Nevada, I specialized in creating innovative UAV/UAS airframes for military applications.
Now, as a design consultant, I provide my expertise globally, assisting clients with ongoing, unfinished, or new design projects. My academic journey, which includes a full scholarship to study Industrial Design at Yeditepe University in Istanbul and an MBA from the same institution, has further enhanced my communication and leadership abilities. I have also had the privilege of teaching Industrial Design and Advanced Surface Modeling at Yeditepe University, allowing me to share my knowledge and passion with the next generation of designers.
